Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. As a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received the Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the show. Motomami was her album which has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to win won the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
