Madhuri dixit Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most popular Indian actors. Her career began in the her twenties. Her role in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her extremely well-known. Her next role was in Dil which she shared screen space with Aamir. Early on, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle class she began to learn how to dance. When she was in her early years as she began to perform as an actress, most of the films she produced were not successful. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then was one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. The actress took a hiatus from acting due to her marriage, before going back to the entertainment industry. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is also recognized for her charity work.
