Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. She spent the majority of her youth listening to music from the past, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes along with old classical pieces. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense vocal instruction. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early career, she was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of different projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
